Jörn, the father of cats in Tarifa

Jörn is not only our marine biologist, but also the father of cats here in Tarifa.

At the beginning of the season a black cat started to show up many times a day in front of our office in the old city. Obviously she was mewing for water and food. We gave it to her, though not in front of the office, but instead exactly next to it, in front of our house entrance. She was also petted and caressed by Jörn of course, and our volunteers. It was not at all surprising that, at the beginning of May, she brought her 4 kittens to us and made herself comfortable in our entrance hall. Since then 4 cute kittens are living here, 2 tigers and 2 black ones. Their eyes have been treated and they are doing very well, growing bigger and bigger. But of course they can not stay here…

You can guess why we are showing these cute photos to you, can’t you? In a short time they should be fit enough to go out into the world, at best as a pair. Who wants to give them a home?
