Firmm at the International Tourism Fair (ITB) in Berlin

“The world as a guest in Berlin” is the slogan of this years International Tourism Fair (ITB) in Berlin. From March 9^th to 13^th the exhibitors assembled at this worldwide largest fair with 11.000 exhibitors from 180 countries

Among all those stylish high-tech stands and offerings of hotels, safaris and cruises, Katharina was also represented for the first time - together with Sebastian, who has supported her for a long time in matters pertaining to graphics and layouts - and together with Uli, a former volunteer, she presented the foundation firmm.

The opportunity to join the ITB, was achieved by the kind request of Barbara and Andreas from Sailing Classics. The two of them offer sailing tours in the Mediterranean and Caribbean – in this manner they combine two things in a special way. The guests spend a sailing-yacht-tour on a wonderful boat without fixed timetables, but nevertheless enjoy the comfort and service of a cruise.

Several people stopped at the firmm-stand, some of them hesitating, some curious. The project at the Strait of Gibraltar is not nearly as famous in Germany as in Switzerland. High time for this to change!

All in all the ITB was a great success and we had a nice time. We got through to many people and travel agencies who now know firmm… perhaps we are going to meet some of them again this summer in Tarifa.
