Rikki

Rikki has an older injury behind her dorsal fin that has healed very well. She is very easy to recognise by this prominent notch.

We have been watching her since 2020. She is a very affectionate female and feels very comfortable in her family of seven. We see Rikki frequently and she also likes to come right up to our boat.

This is how we have experienced Rikki since the beginning of our adoption program:

2021

This year we have chosen Rikki, an older female, for our adoption programme. She has a well-healed scar behind her dorsal fin. We saw her 6 times this season, twice in very large groups of 70 and 80 animals respectively..

2022

We saw Rikki 25 times this year. The first time she was seen was in May. We saw her continuously, especially in May, June and July. The sightings decreased somewhat from August onwards. She also likes to come close to the boat from time to time.

2023

We saw Rikki 30 times this year. She made her first appearance on the 1st of April. We saw her every month of the season. She was even there on one of the last trips on the 1st of November.

2024

We were able to observe Rikki 16 times this season. From April to around mid-August.
