Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus)

The bottlenose dolphin varies greatly in size, shape and colour from one individual to another and according to the geographical region in which it lives. Animals can reach an age of 30 years. They can dive to depths of 600 m. Bottlenose dolphins are well known from dolphinariums and the Flipper-movies.
