Striped dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba)

The striped dolphin may resemble a common dolphin at first glance. In both species full-grown individuals have a size of around 2 m and a weight of 100 kg. Striped dolphins regularly form mixed-species groups with common dolphins in the Strait of Gibraltar.
