Our Activities and Projects

Since 1998 firmm® has actively been contributing to the conservation and investigation of whales and oceans. Our focus is put both on observing the animals and on processing and passing our knowledge.

Throughout the summer we concentrate mainly on observing the whales. We go out to the Strait on our boat to gain information about the size of populations and the whales' behaviour. Nature lovers are invited to accompany us on our tours to watch our scientists at work.

When the unpleasant winter months make boat trips difficult, our informative events come to the fore. In collaboration with marine biologists, we offer lectures and do also present our knowledge to a broad public in various cultural and informative events in countries where firmm is located.
