The Swiss foundation firmm was established in 1998 to study and protect marine mammals and their natural habitats, the oceans.

Our aim is in our name - foundation for information and research on marine mammals. We study whales and dolphins in the Strait of Gibraltar and we want to pass on our knowledge to as many people as possible. Therefore we see ourselves as a platform for scientists and non-scientists, who can come to us to share and deepen their knowledge. At the moment firmm has locations in the following countries:
- Switzerland (firmm Schweiz)
- Spain (firmm España)
- Morocco (firmm Maroc)
In these countries, we do research, take people on excursions to see the whales and organize numerous informative events. By doing all this we want to sensitize more and more people, which in turn brings us closer to our aim - the conservation of whales and dolphins and their habitats.
