After ten days of Levante - Back in Tarifa!

20. July 2006

Ten days of Levante obliged us to bring our boat to the Bay of Algeciras. There were the small dolphins anticipating us. A lot of common dolphins and several striped dolphins were swimming around our boat.

Now our boats are situated again in Tarifa where we are free to observe the pilot whales once again.

Sensation: Sperm whale in the Strait of Gibraltar!

9. July 2006

It seemed to be a neutral trip for a long while but turned out to be a sensation! Because of strong winds in Tarifa we are forced to go out in the Bay of Algeciras where we mainly expect dolphins.

But what did we see amazingly? A sperm whale directly in front of Gibraltar! -ff-

3. July 2006

Already for days we see many pilot whales in the Strait of Gibraltar. Yesterday they have been particularly in a good mood and were jumping again and again very close by our boat! -ff-
