The first orcas are here!

25. June 2006

Mr. Dr. Andreas Erhardt who was on a trip with some scholars of the gymnasium Bäumlihof Basel / Switzerland has been one of the happy ones on the boat seeing orcas for the first time this summer. We were searching the sperm whales when suddenly the sword of the big male orca, which we know from last year, emerged from the waves. Shouting and cheering on the boat: The orcas were there!
A family of four: male, mother with a little calf and either another young male or a little female! -KH-
